“We followed our networking session with a conversation about how we, as a Chapter, could get more involved in the community,” said the Chapter President.
“Our topic of discussion was: Local Events Presented by Chapter Members.”
The first event, Wine Fair CyFair, held at Cypress Village Station, was presented by Chapter member Sherri Segari who was looking for volunteers to pour wine at the event.
It will be hosted by the CyFair Chamber of Commerce and Food & Vine Time Productions, celebrating CyFair businesses and residents with 20 wine tasting stations, culinary tasting stations with food provided by Cypress restaurants, and the lively sounds of the Robert Hartye Band.
Attendees will have the opportunity to support the CyFair Educational Foundation by participating in a silent auction.
Spring into Style was the second community event brought to the attention of the Chapter.
The suggestion to participate in this event was presented by Elizabeth Santangelo, who will be previewing the Stella & Dot 2013 Spring Collection in coordination with upcoming trends that will be exhibited by Kim Dunn.
The final event mentioned was Autism Awareness Happy Hour, at Bar Louie. It was presented by Chapter member Elizabeth Santangelo, who coordinated with Langford Market Woodlands and Stella & Dot to raise awareness of Autism.
Attendees will have the opportunity to preview and purchase amazing clothes and fabulous jewelry; and all proceeds will be donated to Panther Creek Inspiration Ranch, a special place where remarkable learning opportunities and personal victories are happening everyday for individuals with special needs.
