Native American Jewelry Show

We always enjoy the huge crowd that this amazing show attracts. People travel from other states and even Canada to make purchases of these original and handcrafted pieces.

Palm Springs, California (PRWEB) March 11, 2013

Brad Schmett, Broker Associate with Luxury Homes by Keller Williams, today announced that Palm Springs real estate looks forward to a surge in interest later this month when the Native American Jewelry Show exhibits the most exquisite handcrafted designs of the season. The show is presented by the prestigious Agua Caliente Cultural Museum, famous across the Coachella Valley for the preservation and display of the cultural beauty of the area's Indigenous Tribes.

An opening night dinner will be held on Friday, March 22 with a public show to follow on March 23 and 24th from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Unique items for both men and women are crafted from an array of materials, textures, and colors. Expect to see beadwork from a variety of tribal influences with the emphasis on the southern tribes of the United States. JT Willie, the award-winning leader of the Taabaaha (Water's Edge People) will be on hand with beaded moccasins and silver work that is legendary.

Schmett was recently asked about the impact of the show on local real estate, “We always enjoy the huge crowd that this amazing show attracts. People travel from other states and even Canada to make purchases of these original and handcrafted pieces. The Agua Caliente Cultural Museum has the knowledge and experience to offer an exhibit that is quite simply, second to none. To get this quality of work by Navajo, Hopi and Zuni artisans a person might expect to go as far as New Mexico, so it is an extremely special event to have in Palm Springs. Along with our amazing Southwest lifestyle, the jewelry show attracts people who appreciate living here so we are always busy showing luxury homes the week of the show.”

Admission and valet parking are free and everyone is welcome. The Spa Resort Hotel has luxury accommodations for a weekend of fine dining, gambling, and home shopping after finding that special piece of jewelry for any collection.
