We’re looking at several new opportunities [in Ohio] and with our location in Columbus doing so well we want to bring our unique brand of child care services to more Ohio residents.

Delray Beach, Fla. (PRWEB) December 16, 2012

Poised for another record-breaking year, Children of America Educational Childcare & Academy plans to expand further into the Ohio market starting in January. “Early 2013 we intend to open our Powell location,” said Thad Pryor, Children of America CEO and founder. “This is only the beginning for us in Ohio. We’re looking at several new opportunities there and with our location in Columbus doing so well we want to bring our unique brand of child care services to more Ohio residents.”

Children of America stands as the leader in the child care industry by providing a comprehensive roster of services and programs. “Our proprietary curriculum, and comprehensive programming put us at the forefront in the child care business,” Pryor said. “But we never stop looking to improve upon our foundation of services and bring more support to the families we serve.”

Children of America caters to the needs of infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners and elementary children. The Powell school is 10,482 square feet with the capacity to serve 186 students. The school offers state-of-the-art classrooms designed for learning. Parents may even monitor their children and classroom activities throughout the day using the school’s Internet video surveillance program.

Central to the curriculum is Children of America’s Mind & Body Matters initiative. The programs encourage a healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition and fitness, and emphasize the importance of reading.

“Mind and Body Matters plays a fundamental role in helping children develop a love of reading and healthy eating and physical fitness habits,” Pryor explained. “This is something that should start early in a child’s life. If we encourage a healthy respect and love of these things, odds are they will carry this attitude into adulthood.”
