Attorney Yvonne Ballesteros Joins Price Waicukauski & Riley

The firm of Price Waicukauski & Riley is pleased to announce the addition of attorney Yvonne Ballesteros to its team of lawyers. Ms. Ballesteros joins the firm with extensive litigation experience as a former federal law clerk and associate at Lim, Ruger & Kim, LLP in Los Angeles, California.

During her time at Lim, Ruger & Kim, LLP, Ms. Ballesteros was involved in a class action case representing over 300 tenants and secured a multi-million dollar settlement. She also was involved in all phases of litigation strategy and trial preparation in business litigation matters, including witness preparation and defending depositions.

Ms. Ballesteros graduated from the UCLA School of Law in May of 2006 where she served as the Co-Editor-in-Chief/Managing Editor of the Chicano Law Review, the Vice Chair of the national Latino Students Association, and the Co-Chair of the La Raza Student Association. She was also selected as a Mexican American Bar Foundation Scholarship Recipient, and as a Thurgood Marshall’s Council on Legal Education Opportunity Program Fellow. During law school, she served as Law Clerk for the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund.

Ms. Ballesteros has been an active member of the California State Bar for three years and joined the Indiana State Bar in May of 2010. She is fluent in Spanish which expands the firm’s capability to serve Spanish speaking plaintiffs.
