April 30, 2013. (PRWEB) April 30, 2013 -- Oil & Gas operators face significant challenges in keeping land and lease agreements consistently aligned to survey grids. Geographic Information System (GIS) specialists from Quorum Business Solutions, Inc. (Quorum) and Chevron will discuss these challenges and best practices in an upcoming educational presentation titled Spatial Adjustment: Reconciling Land GIS Data with Survey Grid Updates.

GIS experts from Quorum and Chevron will discuss strategies for isolating, quantifying and reporting these changes. The presentation will review tools and approaches to reconcile changes with existing data to ensure future data capture, analysis and map presentation is clean and accurate.
This co-presented educational presentation will take place at 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 9 during the 2013 Esri Petroleum GIS Conference. Quorum will also showcase its Land Suite and GIS / mapping software solutions at exhibit booth #622 throughout the conference from May 7 - 9 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX.
