R. D. Amundson believes that love never dies. He believes that a lot of people are afraid of love, so he wrote “Twice upon a Time” (published by iUniverse) to explain that there is no need to be afraid.

After spending his early childhood in the majestic mountains of Montana, Daniel Abrams is uprooted when his family moves to California and the big city. Miserable, young Daniel finds solace in a new friendship that soon becomes a romance, but his heart is broken when his family decides to move back to their Montana home. He wonders whether some malevolent creature has targeted him for punishment. He spends his days searching for an answer to this divine mystery, but it will take the return of his first love to teach him the true meaning of life.

Real experiences have driven Amundson to write stories about love. He takes the common issue of love interruption and tells the story of how a person reacts to it at a deeply emotional level.
