Service to Seniors
CSAs commitment to volunteer work with seniors show the passion they have both personally and professionally to improving the lives of senior citizens.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) March 05, 2013

Every year hundreds, perhaps thousands, of Certified Senior Advisors (CSAs) take time from their busy practices to make a difference in the lives of seniors. SCSA believes it is important to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of members who are positively impacting the lives of seniors through their volunteer work.

Compassion, creativity and a "can do" attitude make CSA volunteers an incredible asset both to the seniors they serve, and to the local non-profit organizations that serve the senior community. CSAs are problem-solvers, fundraisers, facilitators and friends. CSAs commitment to volunteer work with seniors show the passion they have both personally and professionally to improving the lives of senior citizens.

SCSA is currently seeking submissions for the 2013 Service to Seniors awards. To nominate a Certified Senior Advisor that provides outstanding volunteer services to seniors enter them at 2013 Service to Seniors Awards Program in one of the following categories:

  • CSA Trailblazer: recognizes a CSA who has created a successful new program that helps seniors and can show proven results for a minimum of three months.
  • CSA Community Citizen: honors a CSA who has gone above and beyond in giving time, effort and talent to a senior-related organization or senior-related community cause which has improved the quality of life for seniors.
  • CSA Samaritan: recognizes one-on-one efforts of a CSA who has provided exemplary service in meeting the needs of a senior.

All nominees will be posted on the Service to Seniors award website for public voting. The top three nominees from each category will enter the final award stage where one winner from each category will be selected by a blue-ribbon panel of CSAs and representatives from senior-related organizations. Winners will be honored at the 2013 CSA Conference, August 7-9, in Orlando, Florida, during the special awards luncheon.

Deadline for nominations is April 15, 2013 – to nominate a CSA that has made a positive difference in the lives of seniors through volunteer work please fill out and submit a nomination form.
