Chamberlain, South Dakota (PRWEB) February 21, 2013
Every March Thunderstik Lodge offers tremendous savings for the “end of the season” hunt, but this year’s dates – March 5 through 9 – they have something truly special going on.
Bring a group out for those dates and have the honor and privilege of being in the lodge with a true blue American hero. Army Specialist Rory Dunn, a Purple Heart recipient, will be enjoying a South Dakota pheasant hunt with his father at Thunderstik Lodge.
Born in Renton, WA, Dunn served in Iraq and was stationed in Fallujah. He was severely wounded on his birthday on May 26 2004 when roadside bombs tore through his vehicle while on a civil service mission. It has been a tough road for Rory returning to regular life.
He is continuing with his long-term recovery and becoming a topnotch wing shooter, which he demonstrates while hunting. Thunderstik Lodge is thrilled to be able to put together dates that work for Rory and his father and they encourage all to join them and share hunting stories. It is sure to be an experience hunters will never forget!
If hunters are unable to join Rory and his dad, Thunderstik Lodge can customize dates to fit their schedule. Spring break is a great time to bring the whole family.
