In a niftily written narrative that will certainly rivet everyone, first-time author S.J. Kelly invites her readers to an enjoyable escape from reality. The first book of the Alastair General Series, First to Fall is a mind-blowing fiction about three brothers, Shane, Daniel and Adam, who happen to be vampires and physicians. It focuses on the youngest, Adam, who finds and falls in love with his mate, Sasha Black. The only problem is that she is targeted by werewolves and the brothers must keep her safe.
The oath to protect humans is signed by the local pack and the local vampires. The hospital and casino provide security for both groups, allowing them to work while protecting their differences with humans. This book introduces the readers to Sasha Black, a quiet, typical 20-year-old girl finishing her nursing degree at the local college. Her ordinary life, however, changed forever when the world she knew ended on the night of her 21st birthday. That fated night left her alone in the world, until she met Dr. Adam Connors. Soon, she discovered that monsters in nightmares were her reality. Now, it is up to the Connors brothers to keep her safe without her walking away from the one man who is destined to love her.
In First to Fall, Kelly has written an interesting story that will stir readers’ imagination and engulf them with its gripping mystery, stimulating romance and stirring scenes that will leave them wanting for more.
