Richardson, Texas (PRWEB) January 02, 2013
MicroAccounting Solutions, a leading Sage ERP Value Added Reseller, and Business Management Software Expert, has earned two prestigious awards, the Dallas 100™ Entrepreneur Award and Bob Scott's VAR Stars for 2012. It's the second time MicroAccounting Solutions has been honored with the Dallas 100 Award, and the first time it has made the VAR Stars list.
The Dallas 100™ Entrepreneur Award
The Dallas 100™ Entrepreneur Awards were created to recognize small, privately held Dallas based companies who have achieved exceptional business growth for a three year period, and exceed specific credit and character requirements. MicroAccounting Solutions not only met these criteria, but they continue to grow, adding a second principal office in the greater Chicago area to its Dallas headquarters and its Canton Ohio location.
“We're very proud to have earned this award for a second time,” said Bill Harris, CEO of MicroAccounting Solutions. “As a company grows, it becomes more difficult to earn this award, due to the relative scale in revenue that it needs to generate. We maintain that, among our technical and consultative expertise, our focus on people–both our customers and our employees–plays a large role in our continued growth. Building good relationships leads to more referrals, and word of mouth gets out to where companies even start seeking you out.”
The Dallas 100 Entrepreneurship Awards were created by the SMU Cox School of Business and the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship in 1990. The 2012 Dallas 100 Awards Ceremony and Banquet were held at Meyerson Symphony Hall in Dallas. A listing of the 2012 Dallas 100™ Award Winners can be found at:
Bob Scott's VAR Stars List
Bob Scott, author of the popular Bob Scott's Insights Newsletter, reviews mid-market accounting software resellers on a yearly basis for the award. The deciding factor in selecting the list of top 100 Value Added Resellers (VARs) for Bob Scott’s 2012 VAR Stars rests on one basic principal: quality, not revenue. VARs from very small shops to some of the largest participants in the business have been selected in past years’–and in this year’s–edition.
A variety of criteria go into the definition of quality including awards resellers have received from vendors, growth, leadership in the industry and development and acceptance of important software products by the resellers.
“Earning a spot on the VAR Star List means a lot to our organization,” stated MicroAccounting Solutions and xkzero CEO Bill Harris. “Bob Scott's list is focused on the highest quality VARs, and providing the highest quality services is in our company's DNA. We continually work to make good service great, and great service even better, to provide the best system, services and overall experience for each customer.”
