The latest Newsletter from includes articles from Managing Editor ‘Above Average’ Joe, who details a number of informative survival tips.

The featured article was a continuation of Joe’s previous article, which recalled the story of his confrontation with a raging roadster who threatened to hurt him after a traffic incident.

“In the last issue of the Survival Life Newsletter, I told you about the most harrowing story of road rage that I have personally experienced,” wrote Joe in the article. “I did a few things right when dealing with the enraged idiot, but I also did a few things wrong.”

Joe shares valuable tips for dealing with an enraged driver, such as dialing 911 immediately and never leaving the vehicle. With a level mind and a refusal to engage, Joe said that anyone can get through a confrontation safely.

The Survival Tip of the Day article included vital information on protecting a food supply from the worst of pests.

“You can have enough food stored to ride out whatever Armageddon may come, but it won’t do you much good if it becomes infested with insects,” said the article.

One source of pest control that Joe has found to be effective is diatomaceous earth, a non-chemically based powder that kills insects that come in contact with it.

The last article from the Newsletter is the Practical Prepper section, which advises allergic preppers to use and carry a specialized allergy pill to keep them from serious harm.

“This tiny pill,” said Joe in the article, “no bigger than a mint, saved my life. I hadn’t felt that close to death since I almost drowned and I don’t plan to ever get that bad again.”
