The Meadows Alumni Association is pleased to host an alumni workshop in Houston, Texas, for alumni on November 27, 2012, from 7:00 to 8:30pm. Jeanna Gomez, LCSW, ADAC, CCFC, will lead the discussion on “Reality.” It will be held at The Council on Alcohol and Drugs at 303 Jackson Street and no registration is required to attend.
Gomez is President and CEO of Gomez Counseling and Consulting Services in Houston, TX. Gomez offers private counseling to individuals, couples, families and groups utilizing Pia Mellody's PIT therapy model to heal childhood trauma, relational trauma, codependence, anxiety disorders and addictions. In addition to her training with Pia Mellody, she has also been trained and certified as an EMDR therapist through Francine Shapiro, Ph.D. and has added Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing model of therapy in her practice with clients. She conducts seminars and presentations on various subjects and has a monthly informational blog called “Psych Topics”.
