The Outstanding Mentor of the Year Award recipients are nominated by the agency where they are mentoring a young person. Each award recipient exemplifies the determination and desire to help in guiding youth toward making positive life choices. The recipients were celebrated at The Mentoring Collaborative of Montgomery County’s Annual Outstanding Mentor of the Year Awards Luncheon on January 31, 2013.
Brush thrives to make the Dayton community a better place to live. He has shown tremendous dedication for a number of organizations and fundraising initiatives in and around the Dayton area, including the American Cancer Society and its annual Gala of Hope, the Dayton Bar Association, the Children’s Organ Transplant Association, the Mark A. Kreusch Memorial Fund and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Miami Valley.
