Over the winter period, online retailer Woodburning-Stoves.co.uk has been extremely busy catering to the heating needs of the nation. As many people leave it until the cold weather sets in to decide upon buying a stove; the last 3 months has been chaos for the retailer. However, this has in turn led to a number of sales records being broken.
Paul Dickinson, Product Manager at Woodburning-Stoves commented on the last couple of months: “We’ve definitely been rushed off our feet, but in a good way. We’ve made sure all orders are processed correctly and as far as we’re aware we’ve managed to get all the stoves, accessories and other items to people in a very quick timeframe. Considering we didn’t expect this amount of sales, we’re extremely impressed with how we’ve managed this and thankful to all of our customers!”
Paul carried on to say: “We still can’t fully understand why people don’t buy woodburners in the run-up to winter when it would be far less hassle to get one installed. For one, the sheer coldness of winter doesn’t lend itself as the optimal time to fit a stove and most installers raise their prices around this time as well due to demand. We’d strongly recommend anyone looking at buying a log burner to have it done in the summer or autumn months.”
It was also mentioned by Paul that many retailers often boost their prices over the winter period due to demand being so high. However, observing the Woodburning-Stoves website, prices have only fluctuated in the January sale. For those who didn’t catch the latest announcement, there has been an extended sale on a small range of stoves which can be found by clicking here – enjoy.
Scott Morris, Marketing Manager was more than keen to remark on the sales records that have been broken: “We’ve obtained more orders in the last 3 months than we have in any other 3 month period and turned over bigger numbers than ever before. Hopefully we can continue this trend next winter and still maintain a constant number of sales over the milder months of the year!”
