JavaFX 2.0 was released on 10th October, 2011 and it is currently undergoing an open sourcing process via the OpenJFX project. Since the 2.0 release, Software companies using Java can now make use of JavaFX capabilities without having to incorporate a new script. An advantage of the 2.0 release has over its predecessors is that it ships with platform specific libraries and, hardware acceleration capabilities
