Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) May 16, 2013
On Saturday May 11th, Comcast’s camera crew arrived at the premiere Atlanta LASIK practice the Atlanta Vision Institute around 9:30 AM to film a commercial about LASIK surgery (airing date TBD). Several of Atlanta Vision Institute’s patients arrived onset to participate in the filming and to share their testimonials about their own experiences with LASIK surgeon, Dr. Ashraf. The commercial will be comprised of these testimonials as well as an inside look of the office and staff.
During the commercial shoot, each patient described how she found Dr. Ashraf and what the whole experience was like. One patient said that her mom, a Registered Nurse at Northside Hospital, was told by the doctors she worked with to see Dr. Ashraf of the Atlanta Vision Institute. Another patient said she found Dr. Ashraf after Googling “best LASIK Surgeon” and his website was at the top of the search results; after having her first consultation with Dr. Ashraf and meeting the staff, she further pursued the process of getting LASIK. When asked about what made them decide to get LASIK, the patients had different responses. One patient said that she developed an allergic reaction to contact lenses and felt insecure wearing her glasses, so LASIK was the best alternative. Another patient said that she had perfect eyesight until age 40, when her vision precipitously dropped and she wasn’t able to wear contact lenses for very long and didn’t like wearing glasses. Overall, all the patients went into detail about how contact lenses and eyeglasses weren’t fit for them and they wished they had done LASIK sooner because of the freedom it’s given them from wearing visual aids of any kind.
“The turnout of patients we had for the commercial was great and we look forward to seeing the commercial air on cable networks,” says LASIK surgeon of the Atlanta Vision Institute Dr. Ashraf.
