Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) October 09, 2012
Dr. Deutsch, board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Atlanta, Georgia, is currently helping to promote breast cancer awareness month from now until the end of October. “We are releasing brochures of the breast reconstruction procedures we provide and we will be offering our Facebook fans helpful information about breast cancer and breast reconstruction,” says Dr. Deutsch.
Dr. Deutsch is one of very few surgeons in Atlanta who specializes in DIEP Flap Reconstruction, a procedure that uses a patient’s abdominal tissue to reconstruct the breasts, which results in a flatter abdomen and more natural breasts. Dr. Deutsch offers a variety of other breast reconstruction procedures, such as tissue expander reconstruction, latissimus flaps and TRAM flaps. He works closely with the physicians of his breast cancer patients throughout the entire process. One of Dr. Deutsch’s breast reconstruction patients, Martha, stated the following on her experience: “There aren’t enough words to express my gratitude for everything that Dr. Deutsch and his staff have done, and continue to do, for me throughout my breast reconstruction journey. Dr. Deutsch is not only an incredibly gifted and skilled surgeon, but an amazing artist as well! Thank you, Dr. Deutsch, for your professional, dedicated and caring nature.”
Dr. Deutsch is a member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, The American College of Surgery, and The Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery. In addition, Dr. Deutsch has years of general, plastic and reconstructive training from LSU Medical Center and Albert Einstein Medical Center; his fellowship in cancer reconstruction was performed at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
