The results Vertical Consultants have garnered for our clients attests to the significant value of cell tower property owners’ land and to the value our firm can bring to these landowners.

Nashville, TN (PRWEB) February 08, 2013

On February 7, 2013, NPD Group announced, via their website, recent research affecting the wireless telecom industry. According to the NPD Group, 37 percent of PC users have migrated their activity to from their computers to their mobile devices. According to NPD Group’s research, of the 37 percent, 27 percent are using their mobile connected devices for Internet browsing and 20 percent are using those devices for Facebook usage. The switch creates more demand for mobile connectivity, thus affecting the value of the structures [cell towers] supplying the facilitation of mobile connectivity. As demand and value for cell towers increases, so does the value of the land housing cell towers.

Supply and demand is exemplified in this: with the demand for data, wireless service and subsequently spectrum, comes the need for supply of infrastructure facilitating these services and frequencies—cell towers. Although demand for wireless connectivity is ever-growing, property owners who are leasing their land for cell tower placement, are not paid accordingly within their cell tower leases. Without willing property owners leasing their private land for cell tower and telecom equipment placement, wireless subscribers would be left without sustainable service.

Hugh Odom, President and founder of Vertical Consultants, a telecom consulting firm, states “Property owners who are allowing telecom companies to lease their land often do not realize the extreme value their land possesses. The results Vertical Consultants have garnered for our clients attests to the significant value of cell tower property owners’ land and to the value our firm can bring to these landowners.”

The telecom consulting firm has quickly become a catalyst for positive change in the telecom industry. On average, Vertical Consultants increases cell tower rents for their clients by 142% and in just over one year, recovered over 100 years’ worth of unpaid cell tower rent s and expenses for clients, collectively.
