cPrime announces two new workshops, with one focusing on Agile for Human Resources Professionals, and the other on Agile leadership. The Agile leadership workshop will teach organizational influencers how to effectively guide and direct Agile teams to complete target goals as efficiently as possible. In order for Agile to be successful in the organization, it is critical that a common understanding exists across and between the project teams and the leadership team of agility.
Organizations often struggle to move their Agile adoption from a few dispersed scrum teams to a wide-scale organizational adoption that is working and communicating as one unit. This is due to the lack of leadership understanding the impacts that Agile brings to the hierarchy and structure of their organization. Angela Johnson explains, “Having a group of ‘agile’ teams does not provide the holistic change that is required at various levels of an organization looking to improve by adopting Agile, Lean or similar practices.”
The workshop will show what changes are needed to specific industry’s leadership practices, including improved efficiency and communications between project teams and leadership teams. By the end of this Agile Leadership workshop, communications between cross functional teams will be heightened and leaders will have a better understanding of how to approach their roles more effectively while orchestrating multiple teams to fulfill a common goal as efficiently as possible.
The Agile for Human Resources Professionals workshop is designed for HR leads who need to understand the impacts of moving from traditional plan-driven methods to Agile methods and the new set of qualifications desired by their organization. The Agile for HR workshop will teach HR leads what qualities to look for, based on the new skill sets that are required and in demand. In addition to explaining the differences between Agile roles and traditional roles, the course will teach leaders how to motivate and incent behaviors of successful Agile teams.
The demand for Human Resources professionals, who understand what to look for in this rapidly changing market, is increasing exponentially. By learning the fundamentals of Agile and the impact Agile has on organizations’ hiring needs and employee career paths, professionals can gain the edge they need to succeed with this Agile for HR course. Leaders will learn what it means to adopt Agile roles and responsibilities, and how they can apply them to their specific tasks and responsibilities within their industry.
The course will show what changes are needed to specific hiring practices, including what characteristics and skills are required. By the end of this Agile training session, HR leads will have grasped all the fundamentals needed to improve their efficiency as a successful Human Resources professional.
These courses are taught by Angela Johnson, a Certified Scrum Trainer and Agile Transformation Coach. Angela has successfully implemented Scrum and Agile principles in a variety of projects from web-based applications to enterprise level retail and finance projects, coaching teams, managers, executives and stakeholders.
cPrime is excited to add these new workshops to their curriculum of targeted Agile training and implementation courses. To learn more about the courses and other courses that are currently being offered, please visit cPrime.
