DALLAS, TEXAS (PRWEB) December 12, 2012
The Law Office of W.T. Johnson has made a donation for the month of December to Operation Kindness to help the organization in its mission to care for homeless pets in the North Texas area.
The Dallas attorneys plan to make 12 monthly donations to Operation Kindness, which operates the oldest and largest no-kill animal shelter in North Texas.
“Operation Kindness provides a valuable service to our area,” said David Crowe, an attorney on the W.T. Johnson team. “It takes a lot to operate a no-kill animal shelter, and we want to help Operation Kindness in any way we can. We’re proud to be able to support their mission to find loving homes for homeless pets in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.”
Since it was founded in 1976, Operation Kindness has saved more than 70,000 dogs and cats. The nonprofit uses shelters and foster homes to care for more than 250 animals on a day-to-day basis and more than 3,000 pets each year.
This donation comes as part of the Law Office of W.T. Johnson’s yearlong initiative to give back to the Dallas community. In order to make the metroplex area an even better place to live, the law firm is making donations to a variety of charities with hopes of helping to create lasting positive change for all citizens.
In addition to Operation Kindness, the Law Office of W.T. Johnson is making monthly donations to the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas and the Cancer Support Communities of North Texas.
