Dallas, TX (PRWEB) January 30, 2013
The Dallas attorneys at The Law Offices of W.T. Johnson have made a donation to the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas for the month of January as a continuation of the law firm’s yearlong support of the nonprofit organization.
The donation will go toward helping the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas serve families with children who are hospitalized with a serious illness or injury. The organization helps these families by providing affordable temporary housing during the child’s extended hospital stay.
“The Ronald McDonald House helps families at a very desperate time,” said David Crowe, an attorney on the W.T. Johnson team. “By offering affordable housing and meals, the Ronald McDonald House gives families the opportunity to focus on helping their child get better. That’s a cause worth supporting.”
Next month, Dallas residents can support the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas through the 2013 Hot Chocolate 5K/15K. All proceeds from the race benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. More information about the race is available on the Ronald McDonald House website, rhmdallas.org.
This donation comes as part of the attorneys’ community impact initiative. The attorneys are providing monthly donations to five Dallas-area nonprofit organizations. In addition to the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, the attorneys are sponsoring the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, Operation Kindness, the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and the Cancer Support Community of North Texas.
