In keeping with its commitment to helping destination-marketing professionals explore effective ways in which innovative technologies can be used to attract and engage travelers, Destination Accelerator has joined forces with TrekkSoft, a multi-client booking engine for tour operators and activity providers.
Both Destination Accelerator and TrekkSoft will emphasize the value, first, of building business-to-business bridges between tourism industry operators at the local level in a destination, and, second, of working collaboratively to raise the profile of that destination as a whole.
To that end, a panel of professionals from different world regions and sectors of the industry will share insights and experiences on how grassroots networking and partnership can advance the cause of destination marketing.
“We're really excited to partner with TrekkSoft on this important conversation,” commented Roni Weiss, cofounder of Destination Accelerator, who will serve as co-moderator of the video discussion with Dariush Daftarian, marketing manager at TrekkSoft. “By finding out creative solutions enacted by our talented panelists, we're hoping to provide tools for others to follow suit in their respective locations.”
Weiss and Daftarian will be joined by:
- Jon Fauver, CEO of Bus2alps and cofounder of TrekkSoft
- Ethan Gelber, travel writer and cofounder of Destination Accelerator
- Jade Broadus, founder of Vagabond3 and blogger for Expedia
- Leigh Shulman, founder of Cloudhead
- Leslie McLellan, founder of Tourism Currents and destination marketer
- Juan Paredes Goicochea, cofounder of LARGE minority and More Local
- Kate Webb, owner of The Responsible Safari Company
