Powell, Ohio (PRWEB) January 13, 2013
As the company expands its offerings in Ohio, Children of America Educational Childcare & Academy is scheduled to hold a grand opening celebration for the firm’s newest child care facility in Powell, Ohio. The event is scheduled Saturday, Jan. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The school is located at 7560 Sawmill Parkway.
“Our second location in Ohio is going to be amazing. We believe more Ohioans will be receptive to our innovative approach to child care,” said Thad Pryor, CEO and founder of Children of America Educational Childcare & Academy. “Our quality programs and highly qualified staff place us above other child care centers.”
The curriculum at Children of America helps children advance on “an intellectual, physical, social and emotional level,” Pryor explained.
Parents who attend the grand opening celebration may tour the Powell facility and meet with the staff to learn more about programs at Children of America Educational Childcare & Academy. The new 10,482-square-foot facility is able to accommodate up to 186 children. With state-of-the-art classrooms, programs at Children of America are designed specifically for children from six weeks to 12 years old.
With nearly 60 locations throughout the United States, Pryor said he formed Children of America Educational Childcare & Academy almost 15 years ago as a way to help students who are sometimes left behind by the public school system.
“I’m on a mission to change things because I was that child who was left behind.” Pryor said. “That’s not going to happen to any of our children on my watch.”
A former kickboxing champion, Pryor’s life story has inspired Children of America programs focused on academics, healthy eating and physical fitness.
Children of America Educational Childcare & Academy is offering 10 percent off tuition rates for the first 50 families that enroll at the new school in Powell. Children of America officials will also meet or beat the advertised rate of any national competitor.
