Eric Clapton has announced a spring tour composed of 15 concerts in March and April. The Wallflowers, fronted by Jakob Dylan, will join Clapton for the tour following the conclusion of their "Glad All Over" tour at the end of 2012. Clapton's band will include several long-time touring members and a few new faces including guitarists Doyle Bramhall II and Greg Leisz, bassist Willie Weeks, keyboardists Chris Stainton and Paul Carrack and drummer Steve Jordan, along with backing vocalists Sharon White and Michelle John.

The Eric Clapton tour 2013 starts on March 14th with a concert in Phoenix, Arizona and will play an additional 15 dates across the country. From Phoenix, the tour will move to Texas, playing shows in Houston on the 16th, Austin on the 17th and Dallas on the 19th. The tour then moves on to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on the 20th, Nashville, Tennessee on the 22nd, New Orleans, Louisiana on the 23rd, Jacksonville, Florida on the 26th and Atlanta, Georgia on the 27th. The tour then returns to Florida for two shows in Hollywood, Florida on the 29th and 30th.

In April, the Eric Clapton tour 2013 will move to North Carolina with shows on the 2nd in Charlotte and on the 3rd in Raleigh. The final leg of the tour will hit the Northeast, with shows on the 5th in Uncasville, Connecticut and on the 6th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At the conclusion of the tour, Clapton will play two concert dates at Madison Square Garden in New York City as part of the Crossroads Guitar Festival, which takes place on the 12th and 13th. The Wallflowers will not be part of the festival.

The festival will also feature an array of renowned guitarists and bands from several different genres, including BB King, John Mayer, Vince Gill and Los Lobos, among others. This will be the fourth time that Eric Clapton has hosted the Crossroads Guitar Festival famous for its impressive lineup and unexpected collaborations. General ticket sales begin November 30th.
