This partnership combines the N.C. Solar Center’s IREC-ISPQ-accredited Renewable Energy Technologies Diploma Series with Everblue’s ACICS-accredited training courses. The Renewable Energy Technologies Diploma Series is a non-degree diploma from N.C. State University comprised of continuing education programs. Everblue’s non-degree programs cover the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Rating System, Building Performance Institute (BPI) Technical Standards, and Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET) National Standards.

The N.C. Solar Center, celebrating its 25th year, will host a kick-off event at the Holiday Inn Express in Raleigh, N.C. on March 5 from 6-7 p.m. Students, faculty, staff, and industry professionals will be officially introduced to the new training options available through Everblue. Attendees will enjoy food, drinks, and raffle prizes while learning about the new certifications, programs, and diploma series. Two winners will be chosen from the raffle; the first prize is a free solar training course from N.C. Solar Center, and the second prize is a free online Everblue course.
