The phenomena of time dilation, namely the slowing of a clock traveling at high velocities or placed in a strong gravitational field, was first predicted by Einstein’s theory of special relativity. Today, time dilation is an experimentally verified fact. However, until now, the underlying mechanism of time dilation has remained elusive.
Physicist Louis Del Monte, author of Unraveling the Universe’s Mysteries, presents original theoretical research, backed by experimental evidence that sheds light on the fundamental mechanism responsible for time dilation.
In Unraveling the Universe’s Mysteries, Del Monte uses Einstein’s special theory of relativity to develop an equation between existence (i.e. movement in time) and energy. The equation is termed the Existence Equation. Using the equation, Del Monte was able to predict time dilation results from particle acceleration data.
“The Existence Equation, which relates existence with energy, accurately predicts time dilation results from particle acceleration data. We now have the fundamental mechanism responsible for time dilation,” said Del Monte.
Del Monte is publishing a six part video series explaining the relationship between existence and energy on his YouTube channel, which currently has over 10,000 video views.
Del Monte’s book, Unraveling the Universe’s Mysteries, is available in soft cover or e-book format on Amazon.com and BN.com (Barnes & Noble).
