Wilmington, DE (PRWEB) April 03, 2013

ArbMon (Arbitrage Monitoring) is a new service launched in response to the phenomenal increase in arbitrage trading activity in the Forex market.

The service monitors the broker's price feed in the same way as arbitrage trading algorithms; it also generates real-time reports with potential price feed anomalies. Brokers can now detect price feed spikes, freezes and latencies that open arbitrage opportunities. ArbMon provides interactive charts that allow you to compare a broker’s price feed with other brokers’ feeds and with the True Market Price, which is an accepted reference point with input from more than 40 reputable pricing sources.

While many brokers claim to be equipped with an arbitrage-free price feed, all price feeds are susceptible to discrepancies at some point in time. ArbMon can provide a market snapshot taken just five seconds after a Non-farms Payroll (NFP) report is released to demonstrate how price feeds can disperse. Additionally, the service provides a backlog history allowing brokers to check back several months in their tick history and generate snapshots that can be used as hard evidence to prove wrongdoing on the part of arbitrageurs.

It is not necessary for brokers to install plug-ins or any additional software on their trading servers. All the monitoring is done in the front end, the place where the traders can see activity and attempt to exploit it.
