Local University Baltimore’s crash course in Internet marketing will be held from Friday, March 8, 2013 from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM (EST), Baltimore, MD. “Seminar attendees will learn about Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Local Search Optimization, and Social Media tips and techniques that will lead to sustained, long-term search engine rankings and, hopefully, new customers.” said Mike Blumenthal, an expert in Google + Local and local web search.
Blumenthal went on to say: “We are particularly concerned with debunking common myths and fallacies about Internet marketing, while coaching you on strategies and tactics that really work.”
Topics of the event include the Introduction to Search Engines, Website Optimization, Getting Social Online, Going Local with Google, Ranking Your Business in Local Search, Understanding Website Traffic, and Internet Marketing for the Do-It-Yourselfers. Two question-and-answer sessions will allow for plenty of interactive feedback.
Joel Headley of Google, one of the seminar sponsors, will present “Going Local with Google.”
“People will be able to learn how to use Google’s local products from a Google staffer that is intimately familiar with them. They will also learn how to acquire new customers, while engaging and retaining existing ones using the most appropriate marketing option” according to David Mihm.
