TheTeaParty.net announced today that it will feature businessman and Presidential candidate, Herman Cain, in a Tea Party Cyber Tour tele-townhall event to be held this Wednesday, November 2, at 6:00 p.m. ET.
"As the early primary states approach, people are starting to pay a lot more attention to the Presidential race," said Dustin Stockton, Chief Strategist for TheTeaParty.net. "We're thrilled to have Herman Cain on to talk about his plan for how to address the problems facing America."
Cain has surged in the polls after a surprising upset in the Florida Republican straw poll in September. He has a long track record of turning around failed businesses, most notably Godfather's Pizza.
"I'm pleased to join the Tea Party.net Cyber Townhall to share my economic vision for getting this country back on track," said Cain. "It's always great to talk about my 9-9-9 plan. The more Americans know about it, the more they like it, it means jobs, jobs, jobs!"
This tele-forum townhall style event will give Tea Party members an opportunity to ask questions of Cain in real time. Those who wish to participate can register for the event here. Participants can also ask questions via twitter during the event by using the #teacyber hash tag, or on the call by pressing *3. The tele-townhall event can also be heard via USTREAM at the time of event.
The Tea Party Cyber Tour has given Tea Party supporters across the country access to such prominent conservative leaders as Fmr. Speaker Newt Gingrich, Rep. Michele Bachmann, Rep. Allen West, Sen. Mike Lee, Phyllis Schlafly, and George Demos.
