We want to make the Village website easy to use for residents, businesses and visitors
Glenview, IL (PRWEB) May 02, 2013
The Village of Glenview, a suburban village located approximately 18 miles north of Chicago in Cook County, Illinois, is looking for input from its residents, businesses, visitors and others on how its website can serve the community better. The goal of the new website is to display the unique character of the Village, promote its amenities and show why Glenview is a great place to live, conduct business and visit.
As a part of the redesign, the Village is seeking feedback from residents, businesses, visitors, and other parties about how they use the current site and information and services they would like to see available.
The Village invites you to participate in the survey: http://www.intechnic.com/glenview/
”The Village of Glenview continues to provide services and information online for the convenience of our residents and businesses, such as forms, permit applications and payment opportunities. We want to make the Village website easy to use for residents, businesses and visitors,” Todd Hileman, Village Manager, stated.
The Village hired Intechnic, a Chicago-based web development company, due to its experience working with the government market in designing and developing websites that change the way in which visitors interact with government.
"Traditionally, municipal websites underperform in areas of user experience, message delivery, image presentation and mobile support." said Andrew Kucheriavy, the CEO of Intechnic. "We solve this by bringing the best in experience, technology and industry practices to create a world-class municipal website that will be user-centric and driven in content, solutions and actions."
Public participation is greatly appreciated and will help improve the Village’s online services. Participant responses are confidential and will be used solely for the purposes of the website's redesign.
