Kauai, Hawaii (PRWEB) November 01, 2012
With the growing trend of using a phone to access the web, Coldwell Banker Bali Hai Realty, on Kauai, has established the first broker's mobile site that serves up real-time information including lot lines, images and other real property details. The mobile site is accessed with a smart phone through http://www.balihai.com. The website recognizes a phone’s browser without the need to download an ‘app’. It works for both listed properties and vacation rentals. The site was launched in August 2012. Developed by Kukui Corporation of Kapaa, the mobile site has already generated a lot of interest producing a significant share of Bali Hai's total web traffic in the last two months. Previously, this type of information could only be accessed via desktop or laptop computer.
“This mobile website provides more information via phone in real-time than major aggregate sites like Zillow, Trulia or Realtor.com,” says Ryan Wilmot, CEO of Kukui Corporation. Wilmot points to convenience as being a major factor in establishing the mobile site. “People can just drive by a property and access extensive information without getting out of the car.” Wilmot indicates that a lot of Bali Hai's customers are visitors to Kauai who fall in love with the island and want to purchase property but have a short amount of time during their visit to research real estate. The mobile site allows visitors to access detailed property information while traveling around Kauai's communities.
Coldwell Banker Bali Hai Realty was founded by current President, John Ferry. First known as Bali Hai Realty, the organization has expanded over the years to its present day operation of 25 full time agents and employees. In 2000, Bali Hai Realty became associated with Coldwell Banker, an international real estate brand. Bali Hai is an active participant in many community organizations and has received numerous awards and distinctions. For more information, 808-826-7244, or go to http://www.balihai.com.
