With our events, we aim to provide a drug- and alcohol-free environment, and host during decent hours. I think this pool party continues our trend of giving teens an outlet to have fun and hang out with some of their favorite celebrities.

Summer 2013 is turning up the heat now that R&B heartthrob Jacob Latimore is confirmed to cohost an exclusive Celebrity Teen Pool Day Party with DJ Key and Atlanta’s newest female singing sensation, QT Jazz on June 23 from 4-8p.m. in Ellenwood, Georgia. Among the highlights set for the day are poolside performances, a beat the heat cool down and daiquiri station, plus Latimore will crown a champion in Jacob’s Best Swimwear Contest.

The production is being staged by the stars of new reality show Bishop’s Daughters, Kenedi and Treasure Bishop. The entrepreneurial Atlanta-based teenage sisters are the faces behind the Kenedi Treasure brand which includes lip gloss, nail polish, watches and a limited edition t-shirt line.

“Our last event with Jacob Latimore was our Easter Egg White Affair that was sold out and had a lot of hit performances,” said Kenedi, 16. “We originally planned something a little smaller but with one set of tickets already being sold out for this event, we had no choice but to have a venue to accommodate our guests. So yeah, bring your lawn chairs, bring your pool toys, and turn out in your swim wear to see who will win the contest!”

Treasure, 17, pointed out that it is their goal to provide teens with an avenue to have fun while playing safe.

“There are too many instances where teens end up at college or adult events and risk getting into some serious problems,” she pointed out. “With our events, we aim to provide a drug- and alcohol-free environment, and host during decent hours. I think this pool party continues our trend of giving teens an outlet to have fun and hang out with some of their favorite celebrities instead of just meeting up and going to a pool. There’ll be food, drinks and even opportunities to see themselves in magazines or be interviewed as our events are now covered by quite a few media outlets.”
