The 2013 Dallas International Lighting Market is expected to boast an array of new and innovative designs from an abundant amount of brands and Kichler Lighting is one to empress with its launch of their new brand, èlan.
This new brand and business unit features contemporary European-style lighting products, which will debut at this year’s Dallas Intl. Lighting Market, January 17 to 21.
Tony Davidson, president and CEO of Kichler Lighting said that èlan will be a separate product line and independent branch from Kichler and will be a collection that is developed and polished for the North American market.
“Modern, stylish and unconventional are at the core of èlan products,” Davidson said. “èlan will utilize style, design and technology in surprising new ways to create artistic silhouettes of decorative lighting.”
The new èlan brand is created to react to “shorter life cycles” as well as highlight inventive, novel designs while providing true product authority for customers; a collection that plans to establish an efficient tactic for production and growth.
“The entire èlan product development process including design, technology and marketing will be optimized to support this on-trend, contemporary product offering,” Davidson said.
Along with the exciting news about Kichler’s èlan brand, a truly wonderful range of designers and brands will be coming out with brand new products this year and will mainly all be debuted at the Dallas Lighting Market. Here is a quick peek at what will be exhibited this January:
Quoizel Lighting's Mercer Pendant – features contemporary mercury glass set against a polished chrome finish.
Elk Lighting, the Jorgenson Collection – this collection was designed utilizing solid wood, mirroring the silhouette of the legs of household furniture, the sharp angle of the wood is framed with accented polished nickel metalwork; this collection to stands out and offers a unique, contemporary inspiration.
LBL Lighting, the Ona Wall Canopy – according to lbllighting.com, this versatile canopy transforms most Fusion Jack low-voltage pendants into distinctive, customized wall sconces. Dennis Beard, Director of Product Design at LBL, said the new 2013 line of products “reinforce the brand’s growing breadth in several categories.”
Hinkley Lighting, the Splendor collection – wonderfully modern collection with clean, simple lines of brushed nickel mixed with a classic silhouette, Hinkley impresses yet again with this effortless and sophisticated line of products. The sleek arms of the chandelier have a subtle touch of class with the thick etched glass bobeches.
