Austin Oral Surgery is a Gold Sponsor for Vista Ridge High School’s Project Graduation this year.

Vista Ridge High School’s Project Graduation is a safe, chaperoned, alcohol and drug-free event organized by parents of the school’s senior class. The event occurs the night of graduation, June 8, 2013, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Students will be able to celebrate their graduation with each other at Austin’s Park, giving the newly graduated students a time to bond with their peers in a safe and fun atmosphere.

“Project Graduation is a fun event for many students,” said Dr. Russell D. Cunningham, a Lakeway oral surgeon with Austin Oral Surgery. “The event gives graduates an opportunity to have fun with each other before preparing to go off to college, and it’s able to do that in a safe and structured way. Graduation parties like these help students stay out of trouble, and we’re thrilled to be able to support that noble goal.”

Vista Ridge High School’s Project Graduation aims to raise $40,000 before the event to help defray costs for students and give away prizes. To learn more about the project’s fundraising efforts, visit their website at
