MB Financial Bank Welcomes Thomas J. Carmody as First Vice President, Field Credit Manager

Thomas J. Carmody recently joined MB Financial Bank as first vice president, field credit manager and is working at 800 W. Madison Street, Chicago, Ill. Carmody brings over 35 years of experience in commercial banking and credit.

Carmody comes to MB from Leaders Bank, Oak Brook, Ill., where he was a senior vice president in the Special Assets Division and a team leader of the Commercial Lending Division. Previously, he worked at several other financial institutions including Harris Trust and Savings Bank. He also served as past president of the Chicago Chapter of Risk Management Associates.

He received a bachelor of arts degree in accounting and finance at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minn. and earned his MBA from Lewis University, Romeoville, Ill. Most recently he attended the Graduate School of Banking, Boulder, Colo.
