Medigram announced today that it has integrated access to Box into the company’s secure group messaging platform. Medigram users can now attach pictures and other files stored in their Box accounts to messages sent over the Medigram platform to improve communication and care coordination in the healthcare environment.
Medigram users frequently attach photos to provide additional context and information. These photos are normally taken with the camera function included in the Medigram app or uploaded from the user’s camera role which limits the files that can be attached to a message. With the Box integration, users can quickly and easily attach image files stored in their Box account. This significantly increases the versatility of the Medigram platform and improves the user’s ability to coordinate patient care with colleagues.
“Medigram is focused on improving communication and care coordination in the healthcare environment and partnering with Box gives our customers the ability to share additional information across the Medigram platform”, said Michael Chiu, the company’s Co-Founder and CEO. “We are excited that Box has decided expand their services into the healthcare environment and are happy to partner with another HIPAA compliant cloud service provider to improve the services we offer our healthcare customers.”
