DETROIT, Michigan (PRWEB) April 20, 2013
With the many ways that dealerships are able to give back to the community, some, more than others, support causes right on their own dealership lots. MI dealer Art Moran Buick GMC is one of those dealers, as it has welcomed Donate Life through it doors for its shoppers.
As it was announced at the dealership on Thursday, April 18 with Secretary of State Ruth Johnson, Art Moran Buick GMC is supporting Donate Life from now through May, June, and July. Any shopper who comes to the dealership and purchases a vehicle from Art Moran Buick GMC, will be given a Donate Life license plate. Each plate costs $35, and Art Moran Buick GMC’s goal is to cover the cost for 250 plates.
The first $25 goes to the Thomas Daley Gift of Lift Fund, which will be used by the Secretary of State to promote organ, tissue and eye donation.
“This year, we’ve decided to partner with Gift of Life Michigan and the Donate Life Coalition of Michigan to help promote not only organ, tissue and eye donation but their awesome new specialty license plate that is now available in Michigan,” said owner Tom Moran. “It is a great awareness program, and I’m happy to help.”
But, Art Moran Buick GMC is not stopping with giving away 250 plates with the purchase of a vehicle. The dealer is also offering one free oil change to any customer that comes to the dealership with a Donate Life license plate even if the owner didn’t purchase the vehicle from their location.
Customers are welcome to visit the dealership at any time. Art Moran Buick GMC is proud to be a part of such a large organization that is working hard to give back to the community and those in need across the country.
