As technology has rapidly changed, so too has HindSite Software’s mobile solution. Today, the company announced a series of new features designed to make its Android application even more powerful.
Since joining HindSite in 2008, Michael Tran has worked his way up to be the lead Android Developer for the field service software company. Over the past year, Tran and HindSite have been actively working to broaden and perfect features for its Android application.

Some of the most popular new features are:
- Navigation – A simple push of a button allows the field techs to receive audio turn by turn directions via their device.
- Signature Capture – Companies are now capable of capturing signatures from customers in the field. Signatures can be completed either with a stylus or the customer’s finger.
- Assessments – Provides technicians or customers with a series of questions to help field service companies gather more detailed and complete information from a job site.
HindSite and Tran have big plans for future development. New features are being added every few weeks, and future projects, many based on customer feedback and requests, are being being constantly scoped.
As Tran stated, ”Our Android application will never be “done” because HindSite will never stop adding new features or developments to help our customers. It’s exciting to know that this is an ongoing project that will always be evolving, along with the technology it is programmed into.”
