MOGi has several new merchants offering pre-paid value cards, vouchers and rewards programs. The new merchants expand greatly the choices Singaporeans have to shop, dine, play and relax using their smart phones and the MOGi application. Amongst the new merchants are Room Coffee Bar, Naked Dining and Bar, Skive 43 Rooftop Bistro and Bar, Mana Mana and Beer Ally.
All five dining establishments now offer their diners bonuses ranging from 10% to 15% when they top up their prepaid Value Cards on MOGi, and some are offering discounts up to 50% for specific items sold within the app.
Taking advantage of the flexible loyalty programs available on MOGi, Room Coffee Bar has opted for an instant rebate loyalty program where consumers get 3% back into their Value Card as soon as they make a payment using MOGi. Both Skive 43 and Naked Dining on the other hand are encouraging consumers to spend more by rewarding them with a 10% rebate once they've spent $200, and additional rebates once they reach higher cumulative spending levels within a year. Beer Ally has implemented a rewards program where consumers earn points for each dollar they spend using MOGi, which can then be redeemed for items on their menu such as an appetizer, a main course or a bottle of wine.
Both merchants and consumers alike have embraced the MOGi service since its soft launch in October last year. As one of MOGi’s consumers, Steven Chen said, “It’s just a really nice and fun application. I like to shop and I like to save. I can go for lunch without having to check if I need to go to the ATM and when I use the MOGi application I can save a little money, which is just an added bonus to me.”
“We've focused on the F&B segment since we launched MOGi in October of 2012 with well known brands such as IndoChine and O'Brien's.” , said Rashad Buderi, Founder and CEO of Mobile Media Creations. “ We are now putting extra focus on expanding F&B to ensure that we give our users a wider choice where they can enjoy the convenience and security of paying with their phones while earning rewards, rebates and special discounts available exclusively to MOGi members."
