Members and guests of the NAPW Westchester County, NY Local Chapter gathered on February 21st for a professional networking meeting at Caffé Azzurri in Hartsdale.

The group of professional women got together to network, learn more about each other, and support one another’s endeavors.

NAPW Westchester County Local Chapter President Sara O. Speicher, MBA, Owner of BM Pro-Virtual Business Management, welcomed members and guests to the meeting.

“I was pleased to see many new faces, an indication of the Westchester County Chapter’s consistent growth,” said the Chapter President.

Sara encouraged members to check their NAPW email as well as the Westchester County Local Chapter Facebook Page for all the notifications and updates regarding the Chapter’s activities.

She then urged members to keep their eyes open for the annual NAPW National Networking Conference invitation and to RSVP quickly if they wish to secure their seat at this exclusive event.

“Members who had attended previous NAPW National Networking Conferences attested to the unique experience, incredible networking opportunity, and especially, the motivational and educational presentations of past keynote speakers and panelists,” said the President.

After the announcements, Sara invited each attendee to introduce herself and her business in a go-around, which was also an opportunity for the members and guests to exchange business cards.

“The group of professional women in attendance was certainly very versatile, with several attendees in the midst of career transitioning; several had new careers that were a result of that same transition,” said Sara.

Attendees’ business cards were collected for the last drawing to win a gift from a sponsor. Marte Multimedia donated two boxes of 1,000 business cards for the Chapter’s holiday event in December, and the second box was given away during the February meeting.

Crystal Cutler, Westchester County Local Chapter Vice President, drew the winner.

“The networking mixer was a success and attendees had a terrific opportunity to get to know one another, learn more about what they do, and how they can help each other,” said the Chapter President.

The February networking event was held at Caffé Azzurri, which offers its guests warmth, comfort, and authentic culinary flavors set in a casual upscale atmosphere.
