Ultra High Purity Fluoropolymer Lined Solutions

This funding combined with the expertise of Electro Chemical and Lehigh University gives us a feasible way to overcome this technology barrier and provide even better fluoropolymer lining solutions to those who need them.

Emmaus, PA (PRWEB) December 11, 2012

Electro Chemical, a premier solutions provider of fluoropolymer linings and coatings to enhance corrosion protection and ultra high purity chemical containment for industries including Semiconductor, Chemical Processing, Pharmaceutical, Food and Mining, has been awarded a $5,000 matching grant by Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania to work with Lehigh University in developing this new adhesive primer. The potential results of this development include additional application offerings for the marketplace, enhanced engineering support for Electro Chemical’s customers and a continued focus on high quality standards and lining performance.

During this development process, Electro Chemical will work with a team from Lehigh University’s Materials Science Department to identify and evaluate adhesive primer solutions with high thermal stability to perform successfully against the required criteria of the new applications. This criteria encompasses the higher ranges of temperature and pressure conditions currently outside the purview of fluoropolymer linings and coatings. “This funding combined with the expertise of Electro Chemical and Lehigh University gives us a feasible way to overcome this technology barrier and provide even better fluoropolymer lining solutions to those who need them.” states Charles Williston, Electro Chemical’s Sales & Marketing Manager.
