Obituary.us.org is launching a blog and a social media campaign in an effort to reach out to their customers, company officials said.
“In this day and age, you can't simply rely on your website and call center to connect with and attract customers,” a company representative said. “People expect more. So we're building these new contact points to find new ways to connect with our customers.”

The company is also in the process of launching a presence on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and several other social media sites.
“We'll be doing tests to see which social media sites our customers are interested in coming to,” the representative said. “Then we'll focus our efforts on those sites. This is a new project for us, so there will be some element of trial and error.”
The company said the goal of the blog and social media campaigns is to increase customer satisfaction. “We want to have the best customer service standards in the business,” the rep shared.
