Wish I had known about GCT a year ago - I could have saved myself so much time and made so much more money. Live and learn....

Santa Ana, CA (PRWEB) January 09, 2013

An expanded version of the "Ghostwriter Certification Training" program taught privately for over a decade by creator/instructor Claudia Suzanne through Wambtac Communications, this online ghostwriting course introduces students to all aspects of how to increase their earning potential in two intense, hands-on, 15-week semesters. Students will learn the scope and limitations of the ghostwriting profession; the specific knowledge, skills and techniques necessary to do a professional job; and the various methodologies for finding, contracting, and satisfying freelance and corporate clients. The initial semester meets on Saturdays, February 16 through May 25, 2013, from 9 AM to noon, Pacific time. Sessions are instructor-led and held live online. The $1,995 fee includes all books and materials. Online registration and course details are available at http://ccpe.csulb.edu.

The Spring modules—"Introduction to Ghostwriting," "Nonfiction," and "The Industry"—are prerequisites for Fall semester's "Fiction," "Submissions," and "Freelancing" modules. Students will have the opportunity to do an independent project under instructor supervision after successfully completing all six modules.

GCP modules explore insider aspects of the book industry, marketing realities for ghostwriting clients and students' businesses, the vital differences between ghostwriting and collaborating, the 5 Rules of ghosting, elements of an equitable contract, and how to create a personal marketing plan. They will also delve into the ghostwriter-specific techniques for substantive/content editing, voice maintenance, extrapolation and interpretation, and effective book proposals, synopses, and query letters.
