The Study Abroad program at Penrose Academy was created to allow students and alumni to experience international travel that is designed to inspire and educate. The trips last an average of eight to ten days and include hands-on education led by international artists along with cultural experiences related to the destination. Students and alumni began their trip on March 19, 2013.
Penrose Academy co-founder Burt Kohler shared, “These trips are not only a technical educational experience, it is a chance for Penrose students to immerse themselves in a new environment and become more well-rounded individuals by exploring cultures and having experiences that are different from their day to day lives.”
Penrose Academy offers a premier education as a Pivot Point Member School, Bumble and bumble Partner School, Joico Partner, SkinCeuticals Partner and a Dermalogica Partner Plus School. Penrose Academy’s unique curriculum focuses on advanced technical training in addition to business education, professional development and cultural awareness.
