Complaint calls to the customer service department of PropertySearch.us.org are at a record low, company officials said yesterday.

“We are very happy to report that complaints from customers are trending downward,” a company spokesman said. “We have worked hard to improve our product and services with the goal of giving consumers no reason at all to file a complaint.”

The company said they felt the reason that customers are filing fewer complaints is because of a major initiative to discover what causes a consumer complaint, and what can be done to make sure that they have no reason to complain.

“We had a complaint task force put into place,” the spokesman said. “They went through each and every complaint of the last year and looked to see why they were happening. We noticed several patterns of activity that lead to a customer complaints, and then put in new processes to make sure they stopped happening.”

The biggest complaint customers had, he said, was having trouble understanding the information in the public records reports the company provides.

“We realized that we had to simplify our reports to make them easier for customers to read,” he said. “Once we did that, complaint calls dropped nearly in half. It was a real eye opener for us.”

The second-most common complaint was that customers were confused about billing on their credit card statements, he said.

“We then redesigned our website to make our billing practices as transparent as possible,” he said. “That lowered customer complaints even more.”

The company is continuing their complaint task for he said, so as to reduce customer complaints even more.

“Our goal is to make sure no customer ever has any reason to call us with a complaint,” he said.
