Adrift Adventures, a wilderness rafting company in Dinosaur National Monument, announced an exclusive four-day high water Yampa River rafting trip dubbed, ‘Rafting Trip for the Rich and Famous,’ to launch May 29, 2013.

This luxury multi-day rafting trip, which can be reserved exclusively to your group, is limited to 25 people and can be booked with a minimum six people starting at $700 per person, according to Travis Hochard, operations manager, Adrift Adventures.

“Create a custom experience on one of the most sought after wilderness rafting trips in the world during peak runoff,” Hochard explained. “You’ll be pampered so much you’ll feel like you’re on a rafting trip for the rich and famous.”

Professional river guides will do the heavy lifting, cook meals, navigate you through class III-IV rapids and talk about the diverse history, spectacular geology and fragile ecosystems of the area, according to Eileen Peterson, general manager, Adrift Adventures.

“Paddle, hike, learn, eat, camp and relax each day, while your guides take care of logistics and do all of the work,” Peterson said.

The Yampa River in Dinosaur National Monument is only runnable six to eight weeks a year with limited launch dates set by the National Park Service, according Peterson.

“Spend the first three days exploring Yampa Canyon on the Yampa River in Colorado, and on day four enter the Green River in Utah to follow part of John Wesley Powell’s route through Whirlpool Canyon and Split Mountain Gorge,” Peterson said.

Call 800-824-0150 to book this luxury Yampa River rafting trip in Dinosaur National Monument, which includes first to last day lunch, group camping equipment, personal rafting gear, dry bags, transportation to and from the river, and entrance to the Dinosaur Quarry after the trip, according to Peterson. She said sleeping bags, sleeping pads and tents are available for rent.
