Tickets will go on sale to the general public on April 8 for the phenomenal tour that will serve to celebrate the band's 50 years of making rock classics. Nine cities will host concerts, and BargainSeatsOnline.com will have reduced prices for all of them.
There was much speculation in recent months about an upcoming tour, and fans have reason to be excited due to the fact that the "50 and Counting" event has now been confirmed. One Canadian concert is scheduled for May 25 in Toronto, and the group will tour various U.S. cities as well. In early May, the first tour event will take place in Los Angeles at Staples Center. The date has yet to be confirmed. On May 5 and 8, the musicians will visit Oakland and San Jose respectively. The 11th of the month will find them in Las Vegas, and May 15 is the date for an Anaheim concert at Honda Center. The Canadian show is then scheduled for May 25, and finishing up the tour will be Chicago, Boston and Philadelphia shows on May 28, June 12 and June 18.
Many fans may feel disappointed if the band is not appearing in their area. Nine cities can cover only a certain number of locations. There is hope, though, because it is very likely that additional shows will take place. Nine cities have been announced so far, but those destinations may only be the tip of the iceberg. The "50 and Counting Tour" is commemorating a very significant event, and the legendary rock band will want to share their celebration with many fans in many locales. Concertgoers need to be alert to the fact that more dates may well be announced in the coming weeks, and some of the cities scheduled for events might host multiple concerts rather than just one show.
So many fans will want Rolling Stones tickets that shows are apt to sell out within hours or even minutes of initial availability. "50 and Counting" will be one of the most exciting events in music history performed by one of the greatest rock and roll bands. Devoted fans will want to be a part of such an extravaganza.
