MELBOURNE, Fla. (PRWEB) April 08, 2013
Motorcycle enthusiasts in Melbourne and surrounding areas are invited to join Matt’s Casbah in holding the Bikes of Days Gone By vintage motorcycle show, to take place this Saturday, April 13, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The event will feature great food and beautiful vintage bikes from throughout Brevard County and Florida at large.
The show will feature a wide range of makes and models of motorcycles, with the limiting restriction being that they be vintage, defined by the event website as a motorcycle model dating 1978 or earlier. Jim Kuhman will be acting as the master of ceremonies, with Matt’s Casbah providing the focal point for the event.
Motorcycle law firm Sinclair Law, one of the sponsors for the event, will be handing out free koozies at the event. “This is going to be a great time for motorcycle enthusiasts in the area, both young and old, to get together and talk about motorcycles, both old and new,” says Brad Sinclair of Sinclair Law.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Candlelighters of Brevard, an organization committed to the families of children suffering from cancer. The organization provides emotional support and financial assistance to families of children diagnosed with cancer. “We want to help these children and families as they face an incredibly tough time,” says Sinclair. “The Candlelighters of Brevard do an outstanding job of providing for these families’ emotional and financial needs, and that’s why we’re donating the proceeds of the event to them.”
Last-minute registration for Bikes of Days Gone By, located in the heart of downtown Melbourne, will open at 2:00 p.m. on April 13, and run all the way up until the start of the show hours from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Winners will be announced from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. For more information, visit BikesOfDaysGoneBy.com.
