TJ Green Associates, LLC (http://www.tjgreenllc.com) announced its Singapore training week which will be offering courses on Microwave Packaging Technology, Wire Bonding Theory & DOE, and Pre Cap Visual Inspection Per Mil-Std-883. The courses will be offered from Jan 28-Feb 1, 2013 and will be held on site at the IMR Test Labs in Singapore.
Microwave Packaging Technology Course: This three day course is intended as an introductory to intermediate level course for process engineers, designers, quality engineers, and managers responsible for design and manufacture of microwave hybrids and microwave packaging technology. – Jan 28-30, 2013 (3 days)
Wire Bonding Theory & DOE Course: This is an intense one day course that covers the theory and practical aspects of forming a reliable wire bond interconnect. A special emphasis is placed on the materials, process and reliability concerns of creating a long lasting wire bond interconnect. - Jan 31, 2013
Pre Cap Visual Inspection Per Mil-Std-883 Course: This course defines the inspection criteria based on traditional Mil Spec requirements in conjunction with industry accepted best commercial practices. Over 200 color photographs of actual production defects are reviewed and discussed in detail. - Feb 1, 2013
The company offers microelectronics training and consulting and is led by Principal and founder Thomas J. Green. Mr. Green is an industry recognized hybrid materials and process expert who brings over 30 years of microelectronics manufacturing experience to the classroom.
Mr. Green commented that, "Our Pre Cap Visual Inspection course is the industry's only certification course for quality engineers and inspectors focused on the microelectronics visual criteria in Mil-Std-883. This inspection criteria is broadly used in the military, space, telecommunications, Class III medical device industry and in other high reliability applications."
“We’re very excited about our Singapore Training Week,” said Mr. Green. “Our Microwave Packaging Technology course helps companies develop new RF/MMIC and microwave modules for use in extreme military, space, and commercial environments. The course takes an in-depth look at design issues, material trade-offs, and process selection.”
Mr. Green concluded, “Companies who invest in our training gain immediate access to specialized knowledge from industry experts that you just won’t find anywhere else. We’re expecting heavier than usual demand this year and our limited number of openings will fill up quickly.”
