The nonprofit agency offered Zuri’s Facebook FriendRaiser and GoMobile fundraising applications to participants raising money for its 2012 Summer Bowl for Kids’ Sake event. Using the two applications to expand their fundraising reach, participants were able to raise an additional $7,500 collectively.

Zuri’s Facebook FriendRaiser enabled 2012 Summer Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraising participants to raise more money using Facebook – with just one click. While most organizations rely on participants to send their own Facebook fundraising appeals and updates – or provide cumbersome tools that require multiple logins and steps – FriendRaiser takes the effort of out fundraising on Facebook.

FriendRaiser removes the discomfort of approaching potential donors with a direct “ask,” while significantly expanding participants’ fundraising reach. In addition, ROI for nonprofits is achieved quickly, with some nonprofits reaching ROI in just four days.

Additionally, Zuri’s GoMobile is the first fundraising application of its kind, enabling nonprofits to leverage the trend toward mobile by extending the Sphere Friends Asking Friends (FAF) and TeamRaiser fundraising platforms to iPhone and Android devices. As a result, Summer Bowl for Kids’ Sake participants were able to solicit donations and thank donors on behalf of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City – anytime, anywhere.
